Mystic Seaport Museum partnered with WoodenBoat and the Traditional Small Craft Association to host the John Gardner Small Craft Workshop as part of the 30th Annual WoodenBoat Show. The weather the weekend of June 24-26, 2022 was perfect and provided a great opportunity for attendees to take in the sights and sounds of this wonderful event.

Some sights from the 30th Annual WoodenBoat Show and Small Craft Workshop held at Mystic Seaport on June 24-26, 2022. Our Holiday Party and Annual Meeting took place on Dec. 8th at 12:30 pm at the New London Custom House. We enjoyed fine food, good sea stories and an interesting program from our Speaker: Dawn Miller, Manager of the Seaport’s Boat Livery and John Gardner Boat Shop. This coming year is the 50th of the John Gardner Small Craft Workshop as well as the 20th of our Chapter, Dawn had some interesting plans on how we may best celebrate. Established in 1793, Lowell’s Boat Shop is the oldest operating boat shop in America.
